Should we get involved?

Some countries are at risk of genocide at this moment. I think that the United States should definitely intervene because I believe that if we don't step in, then nobody will and then who will help all those victims who are going to suffer? Because genocide will always include victims like civilians even if it's a small number of them. I think that also if the country that is at risk is not very powerful or strong, then it can not do a lot to help prevent or stop the genocide. I think that we also have a big influence in the world so if we get involved, maybe some other countries will and it will be easier to stop the suffering or prevent it if it is possible.
