Gallipoli- World War I
World War I had so many casualties because it was a world war. So many countries were involved and so many people were killed. With new weapons and technology, it became easier to kill people in wars. And the countries did everything to protect their land. And this had such an impact on society because of the number of casualties and how serious the wat became. Everyone was gull of rage and fought with allies. It was like a whole new concept to society because of the outcome; millions of casualties. It also showed how powerful some countries were. But still, they had no idea what World War II had in stores for them.
